Hurricane Season and Emergency Preparedness

As hurricane season approaches, FEMA has released a statement urging individuals and businesses to "prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards" (FEMA) that severe weather may bring.

This serves as a reminder for companies to review or develop an Emergency Preparedness Plan. In a previous HR Tip, Nextep offered several tips in setting up a plan. You may also utilize the resources below and resolve to be ready for natural disasters:
